Processing

Lately I've been thinking somewhere within the realms of that old saying "Life is a journey, not a destination."
It isn't so much the place you get to as it is the process that got you there.

How do you enjoy the process of something when it's stressful?
Does anyone have some tips?

I'm not sure which process is stressful, but I realized (a little further into my engagement than I would have liked) that engagement was a time to savor and enjoy. To me, it was a time to get through, to do things for the next stage. I kept focusing on the goal (getting married, and sometimes I lost sight of the fact that the wedding day itself was not the goal!). I forgot to enjoy simply strolling through engagement. It's a wonderfully blessed time if you can slow down, look around, and be grateful for the moment. Enjoy!

Hmmm....i don't have anything profound to say other than in my own experience, I find stress to be a great motivator and catalyst for things to happen.
I often really crave stress because I love the feeling in the end that I worked through it, grew and attained greater things than if I wouldn't have tried.
