Happy Trails

I'm leaving in about an hour on a roadtrip to Texas! I'm stoked! I'm going with one of my best friends. Back in 2002, her and I did a roadtrip to Colorado. When we stopped in Cheyenne, Wyoming, both of us bought cowboy hats. I dug out my cowboy had for this momentous occasion. It only seemed fitting.

Yee-haw! See y'all when I get back!

Doggie Diapers

My housemates have a dog named Emma who's really really old. So old, that her bladder's starting to go. Did you know that there is such thing as doggie diapers? I had no idea. Once I saw Emma wearing one of these, I laughed uncontrollably and then ran to get my camera.
Poor dog. She was looking pretty pathetic and humiliated.

Still, this is one of the funniest things I've seen in a while:

Maryhill

Over memorial weekend, I went with a couple people out to Maryhill Winery in the Columbia Gorge. It was a blast! Their wine is great and so was the company. I took a couple pics:

The stock.

Ready and waiting to be filled.

The group

Gotta love the signs.

I don't think I'll ever get tired of wine tasting.

Ms. Wellard

Last week, I had the pleasure in participating in a kid's music program at a school out in Milwaukie, Oregon. I haven't been at an elementary school forever! I had forgotten all the reasons why it was so great to be a kid once upon a time. It reminded me of things long forgotten when I was in elementary school and that I too used to suffer from A.D.D. I haven't been around that many kids in a long time. You couldn't help but smile.
I played the piano for their end of the year music program. I had to sneak a couple pics during rehearsal. Couldn't help myself. I had a blast!

I was introduced to the kids as Ms. Wellard and that what they called me the entire time. It made me feel really old!
A while ago, I heard this saying: The hardest part of getting old, is knowing that you were young once.

This is very true.

Stop and Smell the Roses

My man sent me flowers!
These are exquisite.

People, Places and Things

Yes...I've been noticeably absent. But I am back now. I've been up to plenty and have decided to let pictures speak:

Good times!
